Towpath improvements will be taking place along the Erewash Canal.
These will be from Bridge 23 to Bridge 22 and from Bridge 19 to Bridge 17.
Work will comprise construction of 1.8km of 1.5m wide path, 225m of 2m wide path and 64m of 1.2m wide ‘spray & chip’ surfaced towpath.
To ensure the safety of the public the towpath will be closed during the works.
Towpath will be closed in sections with alternative route available via public roads
