We are a Leicestershire based charity providing day trips and holidays on the waterways. For over 40 years the Peter Le Marchant Trust has provided day trips and holidays on the water. Welcoming over 7,000 passengers a year, our aim is to provide a positive and enriching experience aboard our boats; to allow the joy and tranquility of the waterways to be accessible to all. People stepping aboard our boats are able to step away from life for a while and take in the simple joy of nature and unique calmness that being on the water brings. We have 3 boats – 2 wide-beamed skippered day trip boats open to the community, and a self-hire holiday boat which is available for hire throughout the year.

New for 2022 to the Peter Le Marchant fleet is Jubilee - our brand new self-hire 60ft narrowboat. Jubilee includes a number of accessible features making her an inclusive and comfortable environment for many. Wheelchair friendly with a stern lift, she is designed and equipped to take up to 6 passengers, making her an ideal choice for families and groups wanting privacy and the freedom to gently meander the canals at their own pace.
