Wellbeing resources for the classroom

An engaging teaching resource to help children look after their health and wellbeing. Tailored content for KS1 and KS2.

We want to play our part in helping children look after their health and wellbeing.

Through immersive and engaging activities, A Week of Wellbeing helps children understand the importance of wellbeing and equips them with tools for managing their own emotional health.

Designed for Key Stages 1 and 2, two separate units of work have been created, which can be adapted to any teaching style.

Both units comprise five flexible lessons, built around the Five Ways To Wellbeing, with activities intended to exploit the benefits of spending time outside in nature:

- Connect: connecting with other people

- Assist: helping others

- Notice: taking notice of the world around you

- Active: being active in whatever way you can

- Learn: learning new things
