What's involved?

Join us on Saturday 2nd October at Bankside, Southall between 10am and 3.30pm for a satisfying days work on the beautiful Grand Union Canal Paddington Arm. We'll be tackling this litter hot spot to give the area a real lift. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support.

Meet us at 10am on the towpath by Bankside, Southall, nearest postcode is UB1 1NG. The closest station is Southall which is 1 mile walk (or bus ride) away. Event will run from 10am-3.30pm, join us for the morning or bring a packed lunch and stay all day!

What's in it for you?

The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

What skills are we looking for?

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies.
