What's involved?
Join our monthly World Heritage Site Towpath Taskforce working on the historic waterway in the heart of North Wales. The 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month is Taskforce Day and this is a great opportunnity to join a friendly, lively and active group of volunteers. We could be working on access improvements, bulb planting, gardening, hedge laying or doing one of many other tasks where you can learn some new skills and help to make a big difference to this wonderful waterway. All you need to bring is suitable clothing for practical outdoor working, a packed lunch, hot drink, and a smile.
Please meet up at 10am outside the Trevor Basin Visitor Centre for task briefing for the day's tasks.
What's in it for you?
A chance to learn some new skills, make new friends, get fit, have fun and feel satisfied with a great day's work at the same time as helping us to care for this wonderful historic canal in the heart of a World Heriatge Site.
What skills are we looking for?
No skills are required. All tools and tuition in their use, informal skills training and information on the heritage and wildlife are provided in a safe working environment.
