Join us on Wednesday 27 November between 10am and 2pm at Lea Bridge for an enjoyable day’s work on the beautiful River Lee. We’ll be improving the towpath in this popular area, cutting back overgrown vegetation and collecting litter. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. We will be delighted to see you there. You're welcome to join us for the morning or bring a packed lunch and stay all day!
Meet us by The Princess of Wales Pub, Lea Bridge Road, E5 9RB. The nearest stations are Clapton and Lea Bridge which are a 10 minute walk from the meeting point.
The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
