Starts: 7th June 2017
Little Venice, Grand Union Canal Paddington Arm, London
Join us on Wednesday 7 June between 10am and 3.30pm at Little Venice, for an enjoyable day’s work at this beautiful spot on London's canal network. We’ll be carrying out a variety of tasks to help spruce up the area including cutting back vegetation, collecting litter and clearing large items of rubbish from the canal itself. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. Event leaders Stewart and Ross will be delighted to see you there. You're welcome to join us for the morning or bring a packed lunch and stay all day!
Meet us by the Canal & River Trust office, under Westbourne Terrace Road Bridge, W2 6ND. Nearest transport Warwick Avenue or Paddington.
The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
