Join us on the third Friday of every month between 10am and 2pm for an enjoyable day’s work on the beautiful Leeds & Liverpool Canal in Leeds. Tasks will vary and change with the seasons – tasks could include lock maintenance, painting, vegetation management, planting, towpath repair, wildlife habitat improvements and much more. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. Volunteer Team Leader, Robin Dark, will be delighted to see you there. Please feel free to attend any or all sessions.

Benefits

The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
