What's involved?

The Trust is looking to recruit volunteers with an interest in heritage to lead heritage tours in and around the new visitor attraction Finsley Gate Wharf. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, engaging and passionate about the heritage of Burnley and can communicate this with the general public.
Role & Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver Heritage Tours around the site at Finsley Gate Wharf
• Attending pre-tour briefing to prepare for Heritage days and tours
• Meet and greet groups and the general public
• Lead heritage walks/boat tours along the canal close to Finsley Gate Wharf

- You’ll be happy working on your feet and spending time outdoors in all weathers
- You’ll be happy to take responsibility for equipment, bringing it to and from site.
