Events calendar
All year round our canals and rivers play host to many events ranging from three-day-long canal festivals complete with boat trips, bands and beer tents to talks on canal history and guided walks along our scenic towpaths.
Our waterways offer a unique back drop to any event. During the summer months our towpaths are bustling with guided walks, fairs, festivals and all manner of trading boats selling their wares. However, summer doesn't have a monopoly on waterway events and the remaining months are just as busy with talks, boat trips, art exhibitions and much more taking place up and down the country.
