We are currently looking to recruit volunteers to help us support events and activities related to the Green Recovery project in Manchester City Centre/ Rochdale.
The Green Recovery Project is aimed at revitalising and creating green spaces for wildlife and people along the canal corridor in Manchester City Centre. As an events assistant you will help to deliver a variety of different events from planning and preparation to setting up and running activities on the day.
This role is flexible and some aspects may be undertaken from home including promotion on social media and assistance in developing promotional materials.

What skills are we looking for?
This role will suit people who have a friendly and enthusiastic manner and enjoy working with visitors, including families. This role can sometimes be physically demanding, and you may be on your feet all day. No specific skills are required.
You will be required to attend an informal chat as part of the selection process, and full training will be provided before commencement of the role. Out of pocket travel expenses can be claimed.
