To showcase the beauty on the doorstep to people living close to the Sheffield and Tinsley canal, the Community Roots Project will deliver a programme of community engagement events. The events are varied and aim to involve all age groups from the local communities in different on water and waterside activities. We would like to recruit a team of volunteer events co-ordinators to assist with the planning, organising and delivery of these events throughout the year.

What skills are we looking for?
This role requires volunteers to be the public face of the Trust and are key in attracting communities to the waterside, so we are looking for friendly engaging volunteers with great people skills and a love for the waterways. Excellent communication skills, demonstrate excellent customer service, quick to learn, IT skills, Social Media awareness.
