We are looking for individuals to adopt one of the Trust's notice boards and help us maintain and update these notice boards at various locations along the River Trent.
In this role you'll be helping a group of volunteers to update the Trust's noticeboards on a regular basis, ensuring that all information displayed is up to date, visable and correct for boaters and volunteers alike. You'll ensure that the boards and information are presented to the public in a captivating fashion, as well as ensuring the notice boards are functional and remain free from damage.
We are looking for people to look after a notice board in their local community, and there are numerous on the network along the River Trent.
This role is great for people who enjoy being outdoors as this role allows individuals to see new parts of the Trust's network.
All volunteers will receive an induction and on-going training as it’s needed. The Trust will provide all required equipment and offers reasonable out of pocket expenses.
You will need a hands-on approach, a can-do attitude and the flexibility to work on your own or with others in small teams. This role is perfect for anyone who likes to create order and has a talent for presenting information in an appealing way. The role will involve working in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately.
