Join us on Saturday 15 February between 10am and 3.30pm at Stonebridge Lock, for an enjoyable day’s work on the beautiful River Lee.
We'll be litter, picking, cutting back vegetation and doing a general spruce up of the area.
All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. We will be delighted to see you there. You're welcome to join us for the morning or bring a packed lunch and stay all day!
Meet us on the towpath by Stonebridge Lock, N17 0XD. There is public parking on site or the nearest station is Tottenham Hale which is a 15 minute walk away.
The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy soled footwear ideally work boots, walking boots or wellies.
