We are currently looking to recruit a team of Events & Engagement Volunteer to help us deliver our Events Program in The North West Region. You will help to deliver a variety of different events and activities around the North West from planning and preparation to setting up and running activities on the day. Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all visitors as the public face of Canal & River Trust, answering any questions and encouraging people to get involved in the events/activities
Overseeing family activities – this might involve leading on activities, supervising hands-on art, craft or wildlife activities and assisting with general family activities
Promoting other events at the Canal & River Trust both locally in the North West and nationally

This role will suit people who…
have a friendly and enthusiastic manner and enjoy working with visitors, including families. This role can sometimes be physically demanding, and you may be on your feet all day. No skills are required, but we are looking for positive out-going people to be the face of The Trust.
You will be required to attend an interview as part of the selection process, and full training will be provided before commencement of the role. Out of pocket travel expenses can be claimed.
