Join us on Wednesday 25th September between 10am and 2pm at London Docklands office for an enjoyable days work in the iconic Canary Wharf. We'll be cutting back vegetation, sprucing the lockside up and doing a floating litter pick in the water.
All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. We will be delighted to see you there.
In order to help us combat plastic pollution, if possible, please could you bring your own reusable water bottle and/or mug along with you.
Meet us at Canal & River Trust's Docklands Office, 420 Manchester Road, E14 9ST. The Closest stations is Canary Wharf and South Quay DLR. You're welcome to join us for the morning or bring a packed lunch and stay all day!
The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies.
