Join us on Saturday 21st September between 10am and 3.30pm at Hardmead Lock near Ware for a satisfying days work at this beautiful spot on the River Lee. We'll be painting the locks, cutting back vegetation and collecting litter. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. We will be delighted to see you there.

In order to help us combat plastic pollution, if possible, please could you bring your own reusable water bottle and/or mug along with you.

Meet us at 10am at Hardmead Lock, SG12 8LZ. The site is 1 mile south of Ware town centre and station via the River Lee Towpath.

The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
