Join us on Saturday 2 March between 10am and 3.30pm at Greenford for a satisfying days’ work at this popular spot on the Grand Union Canal. We'll be clearing offside vegetation and doing a general tidy up of the area. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. We will be delighted to see you there.
Meeting us at the Black Horse Pub, Greenford UB6 0AS. The nearest station is Greenford which is a 10 minute walk away.The event will run from 10am-3.30pm, join us for the morning or bring a packed lunch and stay all day!
The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies.
