Activities: Education, Practical, Regularly
Due to the current situation with Coronavirus, this volunteer opportunity is presently on hold. Please let us know your interest and we will contact you when recruiting begins.
Learning to be safe near water is an important part of a child's education.
Through delivery of our Water Safety Assembly or Classroom Workshop we teach children how to be SAFE around the waterside. We deliver volunteer-led sessions, which are both interactive and fun. We offer free class-led activities and assemblies, in school and with uniformed groups such as Cubs and Brownies.
We are looking for volunteers who have a passion to keep children safe near water and who could deliver our important water safety message.
We are looking for people who can volunteer flexibly and respond to school and informal group requests as required and who can commit to at least 3 or 4 days a month. We try and give you at least 2 weeks’ notice of a visit.
