We're joining forces with our friends at the Stonebridge Lock Coalition for a festive end of year clean up event at Stonebridge Lock. Join us to help cut back overgrown vegetation and collect litter, supporting the Stonebridge Lock Coalition with their aims to make the River Lee at cleaner, greener, safer place for people and wildlife.

All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. We will be delighted to see you there.

Meet us at 11am on the towpath by Stonebridge Lock, N17 0XD. There is public parking on site or the nearest station is Tottenham Hale which is a 15 minute walk away. The event will run from 11am - 2pm and will be followed by mulled wine, cider, soft drinks and mince pies!


Get outdoors, be active, meet like-minded people and make a difference to your local river.

Skills required

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy soled footwear ideally work boots, walking boots or wellies.
