River Lee & River Stort, London
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to work alongside our volunteering team to help co-ordinate and lead practical volunteer activities on the rivers Lee & Stort in Hertfordshire and Essex. Our volunteers, inlcuding local residents, community groups and corporate teams, tackle a huge variety of tasks such as towpath maintenance, lock painting, litter clearance and habitat management.
As a Lead, you'll work alongside staff and other volunteers to plan, deliver, and celebrate volunteering across London & the South East, and particularly the rivers Lee & Stort. In return for a regular commitment of your time, we provide the opportunity to gain experience and put your skills into practice, to ensure the smooth day to day running of volunteer activities, and give our volunteers the best experience possible.

A strong set of skills & experience, ideal for those looking to gain practical work experience and increase their employability. Dedicated training and networking is an essential part of the role, and you'll be supported by existing Lead volunteers and staff as you develop your skills. With a wide range of projects, it's a great way to explore your local waterways and meet lots of new people from a wide range of backgrounds.
