We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to co-ordinate and lead our ever-growing group of volunteers in the Trust. In particular, we need help with organising our volunteer lock keepers on the Mon & Brec canal. In return for a regular commitment of your time, we provide the opportunity to gain experience and put your skills into practice, to ensure the smooth day to day running of volunteer activities, and give our volunteers the best experience possible.

Skills required

Strong people skills, including patience, listening and the ability to respond to volunteers' needs
Good organisational skills
Enthusiasm for the waterways and the Trust's valiues
Good understanding of health & safety principles
Experience of your areas of work desirable
Experience of volunteering, especially working in a team desirable
Comfortable with IT
