Anderton Boat Lift
As a 'Meet & Greet' guide you will be part of a small yet busy team and will assist in ensuring that all our large group visitors receive excellent standards of customer service thoughout their experience, always striving to exceed their expectations.
This role focuses on the customer and providing them with all the information they may require for the duration of their visit.
This commences from printing their tickets prior to arrival, welcoming the party off their coach and detailing what they are booked in for and then escorting them on to the boat. Afterwards, if time permits its greeting for departure ensuring all has gone smoothly. Assisting them throughout their visit with any enquiries/requests we receive.
From March to October we are open 7 days a week this thus the role can be flexxible with the days/hours volunteered.
Being part of a team, satisfaction though being able to make a difference for our Tour Operator clientele. Your help and interaction will leave them with a positive impression of your local canal and Canal & River Trust as a whole.
Reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses.
Excellent knowledge and experience of customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
Being trustworthy, reliable and having a patient & calm demeanour is not essential but certainly will assist you in the role.
