Join us and CleanupUK on Saturday 7th April between 10am-3.30pm at Lea Bridge on the Beautiful River Lee. We will be litter picking, cutting back vegetation impeding the towpaths, removing fly tipping, revamping planters and generally giving the space a good tidy up for all those who use it. All tools and equipment will be provided along with refreshments. We will be delighted to see you there!
Meet us at The Princess of Wales Pub, Lea Bridge Road, E5 9RB. If you are travelling by public transport the nearest stations are Lea Bridge and Clapton which are a 10-minute walk away.
CleanupUK is a charity whose main focus is on helping those who are most in need, to combat the litter problem where they are. Through involvement in this activity, people feel their communities are safer, more welcoming and friendlier. To learn more about what they do visit their website on- http://www.cleanupuk.org.uk/
