Take pride in bringing out the potential of the canal in and around Worksop!
Meeting once a month, we undertake a range of tasks to improve the visual appearance of a couple of miles of the Chesterfield Canal running through Worksop.
You could find yourself litter picking from the towpath or a boat, painting lock gates and furniture, trimming and clearing overgrowing vegetation, improving the towpath, or any number of other tasks to enhance the waterway.
Take pride in making your local canal a place for all to enjoy.
Allow natural habitats to flourish.
Learn new practical skills.
Get to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff.
Boost your physical and mental well-being.
As a variety of tasks are carried out, all levels of ability are welcome. On-the-job training and guidance is always available from our leaders.
