On the Coventry Canal between Bridge 69 and 70 a leak has appeared in the canal bank which is making neighbouring ground to become waterlogged, along with the loss of water from the canal.
Works are required to identify the exact location of the leak and stop the ingress of water by installing puddling clay behind the concrete bank protection.
Could you assist us with this task, and help prevent the water loss and improve the quality of the ground that surrounds it?
This is a great way to meet other local volunteers and work alongside our direct services (construction teams), learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
Along with supporting and assisting our canalside neighbours by improving the grounds alongside.
