Starts: 1st October 2017 to 31st October 2017

Hatton, Grand Union Canal, Warwickshire

The banks of the canal hold the water in. Keeping them strong and solid also ensures that the towpath is a great place to be for anyone using it. They need caring for, especially when they're made from 90 year old concrete.

This is a great opportunity to support the Trust's Asset Delivery Volunteering team repairing 300m of concrete copers at Hatton Locks. We will be draining the canal down, then with the use of ladders we will access them. Whilst in the pounds, we will be wearing chest waders and rendering the copers with concrete.
