Be part of an exciting art project on London's canals!
Artist Simeon Nelson and Composer Rob Godman are creating 'Meanwhile Hydrosiren' an art boat for Meanwhile Gardens and need you help. We are looking for volunteers to help construct a bespoke boat for the project. When complete the boat will be based at Meanwhile Gardens on the Grand Union Paddington Arm, travelling along the canal, making music from the sounds it encounters.
The building of the boat will take place at the Canal & River Trust boat yard in Southall on weekdays throughout August. We are looking for volunteers to help the team with all aspects of the construction. Ideally you will have practical DIY skills and be able to give at least 10 days to the project.
