Join us on Tuesday 6 June between 10am and 3.30pm at Treaty Street Gardens, Islington, for an enjoyable day’s work on the beautiful Regent's Canal. We’ll be carrying out a variety of tasks to help spruce up the area including cutting back vegetation, removing graffiti and collecting litter. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. You're welcome to join us for the morning or bring a packed lunch and stay all day!

The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

Skills required

No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket or sun hat) and sturdy soled footwear ideally work boots, walking boots or wellies.
