Help us deliver & develop our popular newsletters for volunteers, full of information, recent achievements, and upcoming events. Work with local and national staff to gather case studies and photos, and help us create templates for use in local newsletters across the Trust. We also need your help to keep in touch with our volunteers in other ways, on and off-line. If you can spare 1 or 2 days a week, then we can offer you a fulfilling role with a focus on people and what they can achieve.
A chance to play a central role in improving our communications with volunteers, meet lots of interesting people, and gain skills in written & verbal communication, customer service and IT. You'll be an important part of our national volunteering team, and have the chance to meet and work with a wide range of committed staff and volunteers.
If you have good written and verbal communication skills, are willing to share and champion new ideas, are confident with social media and other communication channels, and have an enthusiasm for canals, volunteering and the ability to share this with others then this could be the opportunity for you
