Trent & Mersey Canal

Join the South Derbyshire Towpath Taskforce team for an enjoyable morning on the Trent & Mersey Canal, supporting us in caring for our precious waterways. All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments.

The South Derbyshire Taskforce runs every Friday (10am to 1pm) working across the Trent & Mersey Canal completing a range of tasks including lock painting, vegetation control, path maintenance, litter clearance and woodland management event.
