Get stuck-in at Kensal Green foraging for litter in the backs of the towpaths, cutting back vegetation and giving the area a spruce up. Meet on the Towpath by Scrubs Lane (Approx postcode NW10 6QE) The event will run from 10am-3.30pm, join us for the morning or bring a packed lunch and stay all day!

Towpath Taskforce is a great way to meet other local volunteers and the CRT Volunteer team, develop new practical skills, learn about the London waterways or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

Skills required

There are no skills required for this task and all safety procedures and work instructions will be given on the day; you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. We advise that you wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions and protective footwear if you have some. Hot drinks will be provided.
