Help get one of London's iconic landmarks looking fabulous. We'll be trimming back vegetation, clearing leaves, weeding flower beds and litter picking. Meet us on the towpath by the Floating Cafe (next to Westbourne Terrace Road Bridge) in Little Venice basin at 10am, approximate postcode W2 6ND. The events will run from 10am-3.30pm, join us for the morning or bring a packed lunch and stay all day! Nearest stations Paddington or Warwick Avenue.

Towpath Taskforce is a great way to meet other local volunteers and the CRT Volunteer team, develop new practical skills, learn about the London waterways or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

Skills required

There are no skills required for this task and all safety procedures and work instructions will be given on the day; you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. We advise that you wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions and protective footwear if you have some. Hot drinks will be provided.
