Are you the volunteer we are looking for? Are you interested in helping the Trust's Health and Safety team with their regular risk re- assessments of our customer operated structures, which include swing bridges, lift bridges and locks. If so the task will involve visiting specific locations within your postcode, with a copy of the previous assessment and our own documentation, to re-assess the condition of the structure from a visitor’s perspective and update our documentation. Ideally you will be able to give us at least one day a week and be prepared to travel bewteen Oxford and Rugby, (would be ideal for someone who is based in Banbury). Full training will be given.

This is a great way of visiting parts of our navigation that you may not have seen before, or even know exist. Helping us to make sure our customers are safe and enjoy their visits to our canals. Take in the fresh air and help with an important part of the Trust's regular work.
