Based at the Canal & River Trust National Volunteering Team, with possible travel to other offices to attend meetings, this volunteering role is to celebrate and promote volunteering opportunities across the Trust both internally and externally with case studies and promotion on social media. This will also include entering our teams for awards.
Ideally suited to someone interested in marketing or a passion for promotion.
Role will include:
- visiting partner groups and our volunteer teams to take photographs, mpegs, carry out short interviews etc.. The use of technology in this is very flexibile. Telephone interviews could also be used.
- social media activities eg Facebook (ideally)
This can be based either at home or with a Trust Office.
Develop deeper relationships between the Trust and wider waterways community
This role would ideally suit a graduate, but the position is open to all who are interested in marketing and communications work
Opportunity to get an experience in marketing and communications disciplines

Use of social media sites (Facebook etc.) would be an advantage.
