Activities: Customer service, Practical
Starts: 1st August 2015 to 31st July 2016
The visitor car park at Goytre Wharf is in regular need of some tidying up and litter picking to maintain the high customer service standards of a busy destination spot on the Mon & Brec canal. This role will also include tidying the carparks coach park entrance road down as far as the aqueduct where the waste bins are stored.
This opportunity would suit someone with a few hours to spare each week, although you can dedicate more time if you choose to. You’ll be happy chatting to the general public and if you have a love of the local waterways, all the better.
As well as getting to meet new people, this task offers fresh air and exercise – as well as the chance to enjoy some of our beautiful waterways and the wildlife that lives there.
No experience is required – but an interest in the environment and a willingness to keep the car park tidy would be an advantage.
