We carry out practical nature conservation work and we aim to conserve the natural history and biodiversity of the area and have lots of fun whilst doing it!
Our tasks include working at various wildlife havens in and around Pocklington. Locations include Primrose Wood, Love Lane, West Green and Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington, The Buddhist Centre Kilnwick Percy Hall, and Pocklington Canal.
Conservation work involves working closely with not-for-profit concerns on land to which the general public is admitted.
All participants are notified of events (we usually meet each Friday at 1000am) and can choose whether or not they wish to join in – nothing is compulsory!
If you are interested contact us: email@example.com or on facebook.com/FOPGS or phone 07905 033248.
Joining our Group is a great way to get out in the open air and socialise with like-minded people.
No skills required, you just need to willing to get stuck in! All children must be accompanied.
