Anderton Boat lift near Northwich in Cheshire is a master piece of Industrial engineering fully restored to operational use and today a major visitor destination. You will be working as part of a small team regularly carrying out a variety of general grounds maintenance tasks such as cutting grass, planting borders, edging, weed removal and painting. You will have face to face contact with guests on a daily basis and will be able to deal with basic enquiries and contribute to the guests overall enjoyment of their visit.

The opportunity to develop your horticultural skills or apply existing skills to a larger area.
Whilst not a heavy practical task, you’ll need to be physically fit to be able to carry out the variety of tasks involved.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with an eye for detail and who takes pride in their work.
A basic understanding of gardening and small scale maintenance tasks would be an advantage.
A friendly, sociable manner and willingness to help with any customer enquiries. You need to be happy working within a team or as an individual.
You’ll be friendly and enjoy working with the public.
