Join us for a practical day around Lancaster or at our site close to the Lune Aqueduct. Work will include vegetation clearance , litter picking and general towpath maintenance.
Task days are held twice per month on alternate Wednesdays & Thursdays between 10am and 3pm. Some addional sessions may be added as required.
No experience is needed. Please sign up below so that we know you're coming and to help ensure we have enough tools.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing which you don’t mind getting dirty and sturdy boots / steel toe caped boots if you have them. We will provide all the tools and equipment needed to do the task.
You may want to bring your own flask or water bottle and a packed lunch or snack depending on how long you’re staying.
It's a great way to meet other like-minded volunteers and get to hear about other volunteering opportunities if you fancy getting more involved.
No special skills are needed for the day and everyone works at their own pace. If you've got specific skills that you think may be helpful, please let us know.
