What's involved?

Join us for our towpath taskforce on the 4th Wednesday of each month at Grafton Regis. Sessions typically run from 11am-3pm but you can stay for as long as you like.

It’s a great opportunity to try low-commitment volunteering with the Trust. Typically, as a team of volunteers you will be involved in a number of task such as paint locks, towpaths repairs, carry out vegetation management and much more.

What's in it for you?

The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other local volunteers and the Trust's Volunteer team, learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

What skills are we looking for?

No experience is needed you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers) and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies. Please sign up below so that we know you're coming.
