What's involved?

Do you have a passion for Petunias? Are you crazy for Chrysanthemums? Are you giddy for Gladioli? Could you spare a few hours to help us? Then we need you! The Anderton Boat lift is looking for inventive and visionary volunteers who have an ambition to deliver and engage the thousands of visitors that visit Anderton each year.

Responsibilities will include:
• General gardening work (weeding, planting, cultivation)
• Planning and designing borders for each season.
• Talking to and answering questions from our visitors about our gardens and the Anderton Boat Lift.
• General gardening work

What skills are we looking for?

This role will suit people who have a friendly enthusiastic manner and enjoy working with visitors. It can sometimes be physically demanding, and you may be on your feet for long periods of time. No skills are required, but previous experience and great customer service skills would be a bonus! You will be required to attend an interview as part of the selection process.
