Green Recovery Project - Work Party Volunteer
Starts: 30 June 2021
The Green Recovery Project is aimed at revitalising and creating green spaces for wildlife and people throughout the canal network in Central Manchester. Volunteers at our work parties will support the Green Recovery project officer in monitoring and maintaining green spaces with a view to maximising biodiversity and creating areas for the public to enjoy. You will have the opportunity to make practical improvements to the canal through planting, biodiversity enhancement schemes and clean ups. All tools and equipment are provided and sessions are led by Trust staff or lead volunteers. Volunteering sessions are flexible and dates may vary dependent upon the projects being undertaken at the time.
