Our wellbeing ambassadors provide a friendly and helpful face on the towpath. We are looking for people with . This could be leading wellbeing walks, guided nature spots or heritage talks. These events offer an opportunity for people to be more active, make new friends, connect with the outdoors and waterside wildlife.
This is an active role suited to people who have a passion for the waterways and would like to make positive difference to communities. Our ambassadors will need to promote these events and will receive training and support to carry out this role. This is a role that requires individuals to be self-motivated and carry out their volunteering activity independently (in compliance with CRT’s Lone Working Policy).
