It gave me life skills and confidence that I probably couldn’t have gained elsewhere.

What's involved?

Join the Towpath Taskforce at Hawkesbury Junction on the second and last Sunday of each month for a range of activities around Exhall and Hawkesbury.

All tools and equipment are provided, together with expert and friendly support and refreshments. We meet opposite the Greyhound pub, Sutton Stop, off Grange Road, Exhall. CV6 6DF from 9:30 onwards.

Towpath Taskforces are for individuals who want to volunteer with the Trust. If you are looking to join us with a team of colleagues from work or community group, please see our Volunteering in Partnership pages on the Trust website Trust so that we can discuss a partnership with your group or company.

What skills are we looking for?

No experience is required, just lots of enthusiasm. Support & contribute to our vital work.

What will you get from us?

The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet likeminded volunteers and work alongside Canal & River Trust staff. You will learn new practical skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours outdoors improving the local waterway environment.
