I have lots of fun creating new habitats for the wildlife and meeting new people.

What's involved?

Join us for a practical day on the Northern Reaches. Work will include vegetation clearance, litter picking and general towpath maintenance.

No experience is needed. Please sign up below to find out when the sessions are taking place and so that we know you're coming and to help ensure we have enough tools.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing which you don’t mind getting dirty and sturdy boots / steel toe-capped boots if you have them. We will provide all the tools and equipment needed to do the task.

You may want to bring your own flask or water bottle and a packed lunch or snack depending on how long you’re staying.

What skills are we looking for?

No special skills are needed for the day and everyone works at their own pace. If you've got specific skills that you think may be helpful, please let us know.

What will you get from us?

It's a great way to meet other like-minded volunteers and get to hear about other volunteering opportunities if you fancy getting more involved.
