What's involved?

Come and join this small, friendly group to make a difference to the area.
Friends of the Welford Arm are a local village group set up to preserve and enhance the Welford Arm of the canal for its users.
The group take pride and have adopted a stretch of canal from Welford Junction down to Welford Wharf and they are always welcoming of new hands to help.

The group usually meet on a Saturday once a month. For more details please contact [email protected]

What skills are we looking for?

Get involved as much or as little as you wish. The only requirement is to have fun.

Come along and meet this friendly group. The work they do gets great feedback from canal users, so why not help.
New volunteers are always very welcome. Learn about the canal and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
