What's involved?

Come along and support us for our new Meadow Lane Nottingham Towpath Taskforce, working with a team of volunteers to enhance the Beeston area of the Notts Beeston Canal which runs through the centre of Nottingham. The team will meet every Wednesday at Beeston Lock and the days will run from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Tasks typically take place between Beeston Lock and Thane Rd Bridge number 17.
All tools and equipment will be provided, together with expert and friendly support from our team.

What skills are we looking for?

No previous experience or commitment is needed.

What will you get from us?

The Towpath Taskforce offers a great way to meet other like-minded people from the local community and our local volunteering team. You can help to make a difference in maintaining and enhancing your local waterway as well as benefitting your own physical and mental wellbeing. You can learn new skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities or just spend a few hours enjoying the great outdoors.
