Thrupp is a pretty canalside village just north of Kidlington on the Oxford Canal. From here the canal closely follows the line of the Cherwell Valley. Rose covered terrace houses line the towpath along this stretch of the Oxford Canal - part of the Oxford Canal Walk.

Accessibility: The towpaths are gravelly and there are steps from the car park to the towpath at one end of the car park, but you can also get to the towpath from the car track
