The heel post on the top gate has recently sheared
Our Gate Inspector has been to site and confirmed a new gate is required
To gain site efficiencies we will replace this gate at the same time as the brickwork repair
Description
A panel of brickwork within the Lock chamber recently started to bulge preventing the passage of boats
A temporary repair has been successful and now a permanent repair is required
To minimize disruption these repairs will be carried out at the same time as other works on the flight
