Description
An obstruction is preventing the ground-paddle from being lowered at Lock 49 and until we can remove the obstruction the lock is inoperable and we have had to close the canal between locks 49 and 50. We will be on site first thing Monday to lower the pound and get a better look at what's got stuck, and our hope is that the canal will be open by lunch time.
